Use of hardware accelerators and parallel programming patterns to decrease
runtime of computationally demanding regions in software used in numerical
scientific and engineering applications. Design of kernels on GPUs and
FPGAs. Programming with the Nvidia CUDA, OpenCL, and OpenMP frameworks.
