Navy's premier undersea research lab, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in
Newport RI.

ABSTRACT:

Lauren and Simon will be visiting SDSU to discuss some of their recent work
in coral reef soundscape ecology, bioinspired robotics and signal
processing, as well as providing information about opportunities for people
considering careers as U.S. federal scientists for the Navy. NUWC is the
Navy's main undersea technology R&D center, employing about 4000 scientists

scientists, and other scientists with physics, data analysis and
mathematics backgrounds.
