[Faculty] College Resolution on the Establishment of Independent Doctoral Programs

Dear Colleagues,

Attached please find the SDSU College of Engineering Resolution on the
Establishment of Independent Doctoral Programs.

A copy of this Resolution has already been disseminated to all faculty
members via the College departments, so that all faculty will be familiar
with the document.

This Resolution will be set for a College faculty at-large vote during the
College Faculty and Staff Meeting on October 30.

I would like to encourage all eligible faculty members to participate in
this vote.  Proxy votes may be exercised by giving written or e-mail notice
designating a proxy to the College Meeting Secretary, Dr. Wenwu Xu (Room
E-323J): wenwu.xu at sdsu.edu (Dr. Wu has been designated by  Dr.
Bhattacharjee as the College Secretary for the 10/30/2018 meeting, as Dr.
Bhattacharjee will be attending an out-of-state conference during the
meeting.)
