Subject: Spring 2018 HDMA Lightning Talks

Dear Colleagues,

Our Center for Human Dynamics in the Mobile Age (HDMA) will host two Lightning talk Series on 3/23 (Fri) and 4/13 (Fri) at 11am at the Communication Seminar Room 209 (the second floor in the Communication Building near the Front Entrance). Please see the attached PDF for more detail info. 

The speakers on March 23 (Fri) at 11am are:

1.	Dr. Joseph Gibbons (Sociology): “Measuring Neighborhood Sentiment.”
2.	Dr. Pamella Lach (Digital Humanities): “Tagging for Justice: Democratizing Knowledge through Participatory Object Description.”
3.	Dr. Lourdes Martinez (Communication): “E-cigarettes and Twitter.”  

  

This Talk Series is open to all SDSU faculty members, students, and researchers.
