Dear Faculty,

The College of Engineering Dean’s Office received a message from the
University Senate apologizing for the technical errors related to the
various Faculty Ballots for the Engineering Dean Search Committee that were
sent yesterday:

A) There were originally two ballots sent:

1) One to nominate internal CoE faculty nominees.

2) The other ballot to nominate an external (outside of CoE) committee
member.

Inadvertently, some of the CoE Faculty nominated internal nominees on the
ballot that was to be used for external nominees. These internal nominees
are still being considered valid and *will be* listed on the final ballot.

B) Faculty that were nominated and agreed to serve, but were inadvertently
excluded on the ballot *will be* listed on the final ballot.

A final corrected ballot will be e-mailed later this afternoon.

If you have any questions regarding the information provided above, please
e-mail the Senate Office: senate at sdsu.edu
Thank you!
