[Faculty] Dean Monte Mehrabadi Memorial Fund

Dear Eugene et al:

Given the extremely high drop-out rate (some 35-40% between the first and
second year) among our freshmen, does it make sense to allocate this
scholarship strictly to such individuals rather than open this memorial
scholarship fund to all worthy applicants, including high-achieving
transfer students?  Just a thought.
