Dear Colleagues,

 

The SDSU student chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) has invited a renowned speaker on the topic of STEM Diversity to campus this Friday. Dr. Manu Platt, Associate Professor of Bioengineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, was the Diversity Award recipient at the BMES annual meeting last year, and his talk was excellent. The SDSU BMES chapter received funds from the Associated Students to host Dr. Platt, and would like to share this experience with SDSU faculty, staff and students.

 

The seminar will be held on Friday, April 6, at 2pm in the Arts & Letters room 101. A flyer is attached, please feel free to share with anyone interested, and let me know if you have any questions.
