[Faculty] Presentation and Interaction with NSF Program Director

Hi Ping,
For the benefit of young assistant professors aspiring to submit CAREER proposal I can devote 30 mins or so in a separate presentation to asst profs on specifically how to write CAREER proposal if you like. It’s up to you if you want me to do that. I will be talking little about that in the main presentation but won’t get into details. Of course, I can advise them personally as well but since most of them might have same questions I thought another short informal presentation could be better. This could be a part of group meeting for asst prof in conf room.

    NSF Program Director on Dynamics, Control, and System Dignostics, Dr. Atul Kelka, will be visiting SDSU on Monday, May 15. He will be giving a presentation on funding opportunities in his program and how to prepare NSF proposals in general. There will be an open forum after the presentation. See attached announcement. This is a good opportunity to hear from and interact with an NSF Program Director even if your research is not exactly in the same area.
