[Faculty] Engineering 423 & 425 Lab Projects - Friday 6/2 - Electrical Power Shutdown

*Hello Engineering Building Safety Coordinators,*



The electrical shutdown that needs to take place to tie in the power for
the Engineering 423 & 425 Lab Projects has been rescheduled to Friday, June
2.



The main electrical feeder lands in the panel that will affect the *entire*
4th floor, this panel will need to be shut down from 4AM to 8AM. We
anticipate that only the 4th floor will be without power.  Power will be
restored to the entire 4th floor excluding all of room 425 by 8AM.  The
panel being installed for room 425 (this includes Dr. Beyene’s area) will
be worked on for the rest of the day; power should be restored by 2PM for
the labs in room 425.  Chris Paolini will have power restored at 8AM.



Please let us know if you have any concerns with this shut down as soon as
possible – studies impacted, etc.  If you have any questions or concerns
while the construction is taking place, please do not hesitate to contact
the Project Management Office.  The Project Management Specialist in our
office, Jan Castaneda – ext. 4-0411, will be your best resource to handle
any questions or concerns.
