Kudos to you and the entire team for hitting this important milestone even
earlier than we had planned.
While we have an enormous amount of work let to do in a tight time frame,
this is a really omen of future success.

I apologize if I inadvertently left anyone off the e-mail but I wanted to
thank all of you for what I perceive as a HUGE schedule milestone for the
SDSU EIS Complex.  Footing excavation started today, 2/29, a week earlier
than what was portrayed on the August 2015 schedule at the time when Clark
was purchasing our major trade partners.  Keep in mind that the critical
path flows through the below grade structure and that no rough in, framing,
finishes, etc. can commence until the foundation is laid. There were many
people that contributed from the pursuit, design, purchasing, fire marshal
approval (there are still two more to go), submittals, and the completed
construction activities that led up to starting footing excavation today.

The SDSU construction team thanks you all for your hard work.

I have attached a photo of the footing excavation as seen from the tower
crane above for all to see.

Donna if you'd like and you are not afraid of heights we can arrange for
the same view for you.
