[Faculty] 20th Anniversary of Deaths of Professors Chen Liang, Preston Lowrey, and Costas Lyrintzis

Dear Colleagues:
August 15 was the 20th anniversary of the deaths of three SDSU engineering
faculty during a MS thesis defense.  The president of the university has
sent letters to the three widows.  In addition, he has had the facilities
staff "refresh" the memorial park on the side of our building.  The three
circular metal plaques in the center of the table tops have been replaced
with the original inscriptions intact.
