Dear Colleagues,

 

As you can see from the attached materials, the Water Resources and Policy
Initiative Group has presented a request for proposals from interested
faculty to obtain assigned time support for Spring 2012 (Winter/Spring for
quarter campuses).

 

Although this request for proposals has been distributed within the WRPI
community (the water-owner at calstate.edu list-serve includes all CSU faculty
who have previously expressed an interest in WRPI-related matters), your
dissemination to Deans and faculty on your campuses would be much
appreciated.

 

You will also note that the grant clearance process for this internal award
includes explicit identification of the campus pre-award officer as an
official who must sign-off on the application.  This inclusion  follows our
discussions at past CCRO meetings.  When you forward the announcement of
this opportunity, you may wish to do so with the information concerning the
name and title of the pre-award officer on your campus.

CSU Faculty,

 

The Chancellor's Office has provided "release time" funding in support of
the Water Resources and Policy Initiatives (WRPI) for FY11/12. While we
understand teaching assignments for Fall 2011 have most likely been
determined, we would like to encourage all interested faculty to apply for
Spring 2012 semester release or Winter 2012 or Spring 2012 quarter release.
