[Faculty] Informational Faculty Meeting Schedule - Fall 2009

Dear Faculty Colleagues:

If we are going to allocated time on our 
busier-than-ever schedules, does it not make 
sense to make such faculty meetings not only 
informational but also be able to conduct 
business too?  Pressing concerns of the college 
and action items from the College's standing 
committees should be handled in a timely and 
periodic matter and not await the end of the 
semester.  This is the essence of collegiality and shared governance.

Feel free to agree or disagree with me, but can 
we continue with business as usual?
