request was sent to David Hayhurst, and  has been passed along. Not too sure
how good the payback might be, but some of you probably have a stake here.
Deadline is tomorrow for security aspects if you plan to participate.

Subject: SSC PACIFIC FY09 ILIR-IAR ANNUAL REVIEW - SAVE THE DATE (OCTOBER
20, 2009)

Ladies and Gentlemen, 

It is my pleasure to invite you to attend the Space and Naval Warfare
Systems Center (SSC) Pacific's Annual In-House Laboratory Independent
Research (ILIR) and In-house Applied Research (IAR) Review for FY09, which
will take place this year on Tuesday 20 October 2009.  It has been
conveniently scheduled for travel ease to coincide with the Naval Air
Warfare Center Weapons Division ILIR/IAR Review occurring later that week at
China Lake. This will be an opportunity to see the wide spectrum of basic
research conducted at our laboratory as well as to meet with our
investigators and discuss their research.  The review will start at 0800 and
will end at approximately 1600, including a poster session.    I am
enclosing a list of the FY09 projects.  An agenda with the day's details and
maps/directions will be e-mailed out in September.  In addition to SSC
Pacific investigators, ONR sponsors and members of academia and industry are
anticipated to attend and participate in the review. !
 I look forward to your participation in this review.  

Please note that if you are a non-SPAWAR participant, and do not have a
visit request on file with SSC San Diego, then you must send a visit request
to SSC Pacific security.  Additionally, our security office is requesting
that all visit requests be received no later than close of business OCT 9.
